Sox shouldn't have lowballed Lester. Proven Boston pitcher who wants to pitch in Boston. Hopefully they can re-sign Lester in the offseason, but that is much less likely now. His price will go up now and if the Red Sox were already too cheap to sign Lester before, hard to see them paying even more now.
