It was a frantic deadline day for the Red Sox, as our 2 best pitchers left. But that wasn't the end for the Red Sox organization, who kept dealing right until the deadline. In addition to Jon Lester and John Lackey, Andrew Miller got dealt to the Baltimore Orioles for their #3 prospect, Eduardo Rodriguez (see below), and Stephen Drew was dealt to the New York Yankees for Kelly Johnson, per the New York Daily News.

The NY Daily News is reporting that our star man (yes, that's sarcasm) will be playing 2nd base for the Evil Empire, which makes sense because they already have a shortstop, some guy by the name of Jeter. Drew's been terrible at the plate, hitting .176 with 4 home runs and 11 RBI's this year. Kelly Johnson has been slightly better with an average of .219, 6 home runs and 22 RBI's.
