The Astros jumped on Boston starter Joe Kelly for six runs in the second inning as Houston trounced the Red Sox 8-1 at Fenway Park Sunday afternoon to earn a split of their four-game series.
Kelly was charged with seven runs on seven hits and three walks in just four innings. One of those hits was a grand slam by Jose Altuve who had four hits in the game.
Boston's lone run came on an RBI double by Daniel Nava that scored Brock Holt in the bottom of the third inning.
Will Middlebrooks and Jackie Bradley Jr. each had two hits for Boston.
