It's turning into an all-too-familiar scenario: Red Sox fall behind early, offense is inept, and they lose.

This time it was Joe Kelly (pictured) giving up 6 runs in 5.2 innings on 4 hits and a career-high 7 walks as the Red Sox fell to the Blue Jays 7-1 at Rogers Centre. He also made a wild pitch and was charged with a pair of errors.

Mookie Betts and Pablo Sandoval each had a pair of hits for Boston. The lone Red Sox run came on a Dustin Pedroia RBI single in the top of the 5th that scored Betts.

With the loss, Boston is 1-7 in the month of May.
