Well, look at the bright side. At least they finally scored.
The Angels slapped Eduardo Rodriguez around for 7 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks in 1.2 innings as the Red Sox were pounded 11-1 in game one of their Monday doubleheader on the West Coast.
The Red Sox lone run came in the top of the fourth inning on an RBI single by Mike Napoli that drove in David Ortiz.
Xander Bogaerts, Pablo Sandoval and Shane Victorino each had two hits in the loss. Rookie Devon Marrero got his first career hit.
