The White Sox scored four times in the first inning off Boston starter Joe Kelly as the Red Sox fell to Chicago 10-8 at Fenway Park.
Kelly gave up back-to-back triples to open the game and the merry-go-round took off from there.
Boston cut the lead in half in the bottom of the first inning on David Ortiz's 20th home run of the year, and then tied the game with two more runs in the second.
Kelly was completely ineffective, allowing five runs on seven hits in just 3.1 innings.
Mookie Betts had three hits for the Red Sox; Ryan Hanigan, Jemile Weeks and Pablo Sandoval each had two.
