It's tough to win when you don't score any runs.

The Red Sox were shutout for the second straight game coming out of the All-Star break, losing 3-0 to the Angels on Saturday night at Angels Stadium.

Rick Porcello took the loss, dropping his record to 5-10. He allowed all three Angels runs on four hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five and allowed a pair of solo home runs to Kole Calhoun.

Pablo Sandoval accounted for the entire Boston offense; he had the only two hits of the game for the Red Sox.

Justin Masterson pitched well out of the bullpen allowing just one hit in three innings of work. That followed his scoreless ninth inning the night before in the 1-0 loss to the Angels.
