Two Adam Jones RBI's negated a strong Eduardo Rodriguez start as the Red Sox fell to the Orioles 2-0 on Monday night in Baltimore.

Rodriguez pitched one out into the sixth inning, charged with one run on five hits and three walks. He struck out a career-high nine batters.

Held to just three hits, this was the first time in 51 games that the Red Sox were shut out.

The loss dropped Boston two games behind third-place Baltimore.

Joe Kelly tries for his ninth straight win for the Red Sox on Tuesday night.
