Recap - Red Sox hit 3 HR's to beat Yankees

Eduardo Rodriguez limited the Yankees to one run over six innings and the Red Sox got home runs from Travis Shaw, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Deven Marrero as Boston beat New York 5-1 in the opening game of their four-game series at Yankee Stadium.

Rodriguez (pictured) gave up a run in the bottom of the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Alex Rodriguez and then shut the Yankees down over the next five innings. He allowed seven hits and one walk while striking out five.

Shaw and Bradley each slammed two-run home runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Marrero's solo shot, his first career long ball, came in the ninth.

Shaw had three hits to lead the Red Sox. Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts each had two.
