The Red Sox offense exploded for 12 hits - including three home runs - to back 7.2 outstanding innings from rookie Henry Owens (pictured) as Boston pounded the Orioles 10-1 in Baltimore.

David Ortiz gave the Red Sox an early 1-0 lead with his 35th home run of the year in the top of the second inning, one of two hits he had.

Dustin Pedroia hit a pair of home runs and drove in five runs in the victory.

Rookie Deven Marrero led Boston with three hits.

Owens was simply brilliant, scattering six hits and not walking a batter while striking out four.
