Aaron Hicks' leadoff home run in the bottom of the seventh inning snapped a 2-2 tie and pushed the Yankees to a 3-2 win over the Red Sox at soggy Yankee Stadium on Friday night.

Rick Porcello (pictured) suffered his first loss of the season, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five.

Boston took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning home run, his seventh of the year and the 50th of his career against the Yankees. It was the 452 of his career in a Red Sox uniform, tying him with Carl Yastrzemski for second in team history.

The Red Sox had the bases loaded in the ninth but Andrew Miller struck out Ortiz and Hanley Ramirez to seal the win.
