Rick Porcello (pictured) gave up four runs in the top of the first (three earned) but settled down to throw five shutout innings in earning his team-leading tenth win. It's the seventh time in his eight-year MLB career that he's won at least ten games. Porcello remained unbeaten at home (7-0) in 2016.

The Boston bats were relentless; nine of the 21 hits went for extra bases and every starter had at least one hit.

Sandy Leon led the way with four hits including three doubles. Dustin Pedroia, Xander Bogaerts, and Travis Shaw each had three hits.

Brock Holt, Pedroia, Shaw and Mookie Betts each had home runs.

Pedey's home run was the 500th extra base hit of his career; Ortiz's two doubles moved him past Carl Yastrzemski for career extra-base hits at 1,159.
