Recap - Sox Offense Back O'Sullivan In Win

Sean O'Sullivan provided 5 strong innings and the Red Sox offense erupted in two big innings as Boston rebounded from Saturday night's 21-2 embarrassment with a 10-5 win over the Angels on Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park.

O'Sullivan (pictured) went 5+ innings in earning his second win of the season. He allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out two.

The Red Sox did the most damage in the bottom of the fifth inning when they put up seven runs after two were out. David Ortiz and Hanley Ramirez both belted RBI doubles, Jackie Bradley Jr., singled in another, followed by a double by Sandy Leon to drive in two and an RBI single by Marco Hernandez.

The Angels closed the gap with three in the sixth and two more runs in the seventh. Boston answered with three in the bottom of the seventh. Leon drove in one with a single and Dustin Pedroia plated two more with a base hit.

Ramirez led Boston with three hits; Pedroia, JBJ, Brock Holt, Leon and Hernandez each had two.

Bradley also threw two runners out on the bases.
