A walk-off groundout for the W?
The Red Sox will take it.
Eduardo Nunez slammed two home runs but it was his groundout to short in the bottom of the 10th inning that proved to be the difference as Sandy Leon raced home from third with the winning run (pictured) in Boston's 9-8 win over the Royals at Fenway Park on Saturday night.
Matt Barnes was the winner in relief. Eduardo Rodriguez started for Boston but didn't get past the fourth inning. He gave up seven hits and walked three in the no-decision.
Nunez and Christian Vazquez each had three hits in the win. Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers had a pair.
