Chris Sale struck out eleven Blue Jays and tossed sevent shutout innings as the Red Sox beat Toronto 7-1 Saturday afternoon at Rogers Centre.

Sale (pictured) scattered four hits and walked just one batter in winning his eleventh game of the year.

The Red Sox scored twice in each of the first two innings. Jackie Bradley Jr. doubled home two in the top of the opening frame; Dustin Pedroia matched that an inning later to give Boston a 4-0 lead.

Xander Bogaerts increased the lead to 5-0 with a sacrifice fly in the fifth and singled home two more runs in the ninth to finish the Boston scoring.

Hanley Ramirez led the Red Sox with three hits. Chris Young, Sandy Leon and Deven Marrero had two apiece.
