If we can celebrate Christmas In July, why not Opening Day In July?

The abbreviated 2020 season finally begins for the Red Sox tonight at Fenway Park against their divisional rival Baltimore Orioles.

Nathan Eovaldi, back in the starting rotation after surgery in 2019 that ultimately resulted in him pitching out the bullpen in 11 of his last 14 appearances, will take the mound for Boston against Baltimore's Tommy Milone.

For Eovaldi, it marks the first time in his career that he is being tabbed as the Opening Day starter.

With three straight home games against the Orioles to open the season, now would be a VERY nice time to put together an early run.
