Red Sox Continue Sizzling June With Sweep of Cleveland

The Red Sox Resurgence continues!

Boston completed a sweep of the Cleveland Guardians with an 8-3 road win to up their June record to 19-4.

Rich Hill (pictured) went six innings to even his record at 4-4. He scattered five hits while striking out five.

Rafael Devers and JD Martinez each had three hits to lead Boston's 15-hit attack. Jarren Duran, Alex Verdugo, Trevor Story, and Christian Vazquez each had a pair of hits.

The Red Sox, who started the season with a series record of 1-7-1, have now won 7 games in a row and head to Toronto to face a Blue Jays team that has lost 7 of its last 10 games. Boston will be without Duran and Houck (both unvaccinated) for the Toronto series.
