Reliever Marcus Walden threw three shutout innings in relief of starter Hector Velazquez as the Red Sox beat the Athletics 7-3 at Fenway Park Wednesday afternoon, giving Boston a sweep of the three-game series.

Christian Vazquez and Mitch Moreland each homered in the win and Andrew Benintendi drove in a pair as Boston won for the sixth time in the last ten games.

Walden (pictured) actually leads the staff in wins with a spotless 4-0 record to go with his 1.65 earned run average.

Rafael Devers and Tzu-Wei Lin each had a pair of hits to lead the Boston offense.
