So 2.1 innings 9 hits,7 earned runs, and a 7.47 era. That is John Lackey's numbers from yesterdays 4th of July game, (Horrible right!!). I get it you are having personal issues but lets be realistic, who's going to show up for us the Lackey that pitches a Gem and drives in our only run, or the Lackey that throws meatballs? I'm a firm believer in giving people opportunites, but at some point somethings gotta give. I full expect the Red Sox to be active at the trade deadline this year. Here's a question for all of you Red Sox fans, who should the Red Sox go after and who would you trade, cut ties with?
