Better base runner, David Ortiz or Mike Trout?
Maybe the title is a stretch, but David Ortiz did make progress in getting back into game shape today. Ortiz ran the bases for the second day in a row. Although the workout was less intense than yesterday, it is the first time this Spring that he has run on consecutive days.

John Farrell was optimistic after the workout:
The soreness following those intense base-running sessions is less today than it was three days ago...So he’s making steady progress.
The fact that he’s able to get back on the base paths today and feel pretty good about himself before going into it is a pretty good sign.
In Ortiz' words?
Ortiz on todays baserunning drill: It was good. #RedSoxTalk
