ClApril Buchholz

Clay Buchholz has had the best 6 game start of any Red Sox pitcher since 1991 and Rodger Clemens start that year. If you think about Buchholz starting the year 6-0 in 6 starts, it is quite an accomplishment. Pedro Martinez never did this, nor did Curt Shilling, Derek Lowe, or Tim Wakefield. Buchholz was named the American Leagues pitcher of the month and will be given a trophy, a trophy he has won once before. Last time he won the trophy was in August of 2010, when his name was misspelled on the award (Buccholz). Buchholz fully deserves this award in the month of April he finished tied for first in wins, was second in ERA, was fifth in opponent batting average (.192), was tied for seventh in strikeouts and was tied for eighth in innings pitched.

Clay has had an amazing month, hopefully he will be able to to continue this success for the rest of the season, if he does we may be removing the la from the middle of his name and swapping Buchholz for Young. Do you think Buchholz will keep up this outstanding form for much longer, is it a possibility in the near future for him to get a loss soon?
