The Red Sox 5-0 win over the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park on Friday night can be summed up in four words - Jon Lester was JON LESTER.

Lester (pictured) was perfect through 5.2 innings not allowing a single baserunner until Maicer Izturis doubled with two outs in the sixth. That would prove to be the only Toronto base runner the entire night. Lester struck out 5 and did not walk a batter as he improved his record to 5-0 on the season with the complete game 1-hitter.

The Red Sox jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning courtesy of an Izturis throwing error. They blew the game open with 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning. Dustin Pedroia drove in Jacoby Ellsbury with an RBI single, Daniel Nava drove in two more runs with a Wall Ball double, and Jarrod Saltalamacchia's RBI double completed the scoring.

The Red Sox banged out 10 hits - Shane Victorino, Pedroia, Saltalamacchia and Will Middlebrooks each had two hits in the win.
