While the Red Sox World Series victory tour may be officially over, one lonely duck boat is making a long journey from Boston to its new home in Selma, Alabama.
Pitcher Jake Peavy purchased the “Charlie River” for $75,000 during the Red Sox World Championship parade. The boat hit the road Thursday on the back of a flatbed.
Here's a few overhead shots of Peavy's new ride making the 1,200 mile trek.
