Recap - Sox streak heads in wrong direction

Michael Bourn doubled in 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to snap a 3-3 tie and lift the Cleveland Indians past the Red Sox 5-3 at Progressive Field.

Jake Peavy, touched for 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning, was saddled with the loss and saw his record fall to 1-3. He went 6.1 innings allowing all 5 Cleveland runs on 8 hits and a walk.

Xander Bogaerts (pictured), Dustin Pedroia and Jonathan Herrera each had 2 hits for the Red Sox who have now dropped 2 in a row after ripping off 7 straight wins. Bogarts homered for the 2nd straight game and Pedroia had an RBI double in the top of the 7th to ties the score.
